I started my career with LU613 back in 1997.  I am running for the position of Business Manager in our local. With 25 years of dues-paying membership, I am committed to serving the union and its members, which is evident through my extensive experience and engagement in union activities.

I’ve been married for 25 years, with four kids and three grandkids and family is a top priority for me. I've experienced firsthand the joy and challenges of family life and I believe that individuals who are away from their families for work should be recognized and compensated for their sacrifices.

My passion for labor service began during my involvement in the construction of Phillips Arena back in 1997, where I first encountered a union steward whose exemplary representation of workers left a lasting impression. This experience inspired me and when given the chance to be a steward, I wanted to be the best, which was approximately 20 years ago. My tenure as a steward reflects my dedication to advocating for my fellow workers and striving for excellence in representation. In addition to my role as a steward, I contributed significantly to the development of future union members by serving on the apprenticeship board for five years. This position allowed me to influence training programs and ensure that new members are adequately prepared for their roles within the union. The culmination of these experiences positions me as an ideal candidate for Business Manager. My unwavering commitment to service and advocacy aligns with the responsibilities required in this leadership role.
